Saint Violet is a creative practice brand, publishing studio, and product ecosystem for writers, artists, designers, and creative overthinkers. Everything here — the books, workbooks, zines, planners, services, workshops, and essays — is built for the same underlying problem: you have more inner material than you have forms to hold it, and the gap between what you're carrying and what you've made keeps getting wider.
That problem is specific. So are the tools.

What Saint Violet makes

Saint Violet is not a single type of thing, which is why new visitors sometimes need a minute to get their bearings. Here's what exists:

Tools & Resources
Workbooks and planners for creative practice, writing craft, project development, and reference work. Some are physical, some digital, some both. They are built around specific creative conditions, not general inspiration.

Zines & Field Guides
Short-form editorial objects on burnout, rest, taste, influence, time, and the ordinary strangeness of making things. Designed to be read fast, returned to slowly.

Services
Creative direction, strategy, and editorial support for writers, artists, and independent creative practices. High-touch, founder-led, and built around the kind of problem a workbook can't solve alone.

Workshops & Live Containers
Structured creative work in real time. Currently: The Writing Room, a six-week intensive for writers with a serious project in motion.

Free Resources
Essays, video content, and the Violet Underground — a free archive of tools, guides, and resources.

Find your starting point

The fastest way into Saint Violet is not to browse everything. It's to name what you're actually dealing with, then follow that thread.

I'm working on a novel or serious writing project

You have a manuscript in some state — first draft, messy middle, almost done. Maybe you just have an idea and some hope. Either way, you need something that treats the work seriously.

I'm returning after burnout or a long absence

You want to work again. The capacity isn't there yet, or the trust is low. You don't need a dramatic reinvention — you need a small door back in.

I have too many ideas and no idea what to do with them

You're not stuck because you have nothing. You have too much, and no way to sort it.

I need someone to help me think through a project

Some creative problems need a person, not a workbook. The project is real and the stakes are real, but the clarity isn't coming from inside the work alone.

I'm in the middle of a project and losing traction

The project began. The novelty has worn off. The complexity has increased. You know what the project is but not what it needs right now.

I have strong taste and references but can't translate them into decisions

Your archive is rich. Your influences are real. But between "I love this" and "so I'm going to make this" there's a gap that doesn't close on its own.

I've always made things. I'm only now deciding to take it seriously

The impulse has been there for years. What you haven't had yet is a structure for it — somewhere for the ideas to land, the references to accumulate, the practice to become something you do rather than something you keep intending to start.

I want to work consistently. I haven't figured out how to make that stick

This isn't burnout, and it isn't about one project stalling. The capacity is there. What's missing is a structure the practice can survive inside — one that holds across interrupted weeks and the days when showing up requires more than wanting to.

I want to make things, I just don't know what to make

The desire is real and the capacity is there. What's missing is a direction — something specific enough to be worth committing to. You're not blocked exactly. You just haven't found the thing yet.
